What does The CUE Club stand for

Our name- The CUE Club is defined by our strenght-Curating Culturally Relevant and Unique Experiences. Culturally relevant, as we organise events and experiences that remind us of our roots and the richness of our culture.

Unique experiences, as the events we create, breed the kind of atmosphere where wholesome, real, connections between individuals thrive.

Our Story

At The Cue Club, we believe in curating unconventional, unique, and artistic experiences. Experiences that feel like the much needed break from the noisy, mundane, and cliché activities for people who do not want to leave the house for the sake of it, but to have a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction while at it. Before now, I’m certain you thought you were alone. That’s how we felt too.

We noticed there were lots of activities for people who are extroverted and for people who liked the roaring side of fun but we had a genuine longing for something more, something extraordinary that seemed missing in the world around us.

We wanted to have genuine conversations, share ideas, enjoy real laughter, and connect with like-minded people. The typical options felt mundane, repetitive, and lacking that touch of warmth and belonging we were searching for.

So we decided to take things into our own hands. It started with one single event- a candle making/ networking session. We brought together, a group of people, we made our own scented candles, we had great food, had eye opening conversations, and even made new friends.

The success of this event showed us two things:

There are people out there who are like us, who sought the same things we did.
Our society needs more activities that engages not only the body, but the mind and soul.

And then we decided to host another edition, and then another, and another up to our 4th edition so far. As time went by, we decided it was time to try something else so we organised a Paint, Wine, and Dine and the energy was unbelievable.

But we didn't stop there...

Following our quest for unique and culturally relevant experiences, we decided to host THE PROTOTYPE- the one dinner event now popularly known as the first ever Afro-fusion fine dining experience in Port Harcourt. We wanted to experience a fine dining in the city of Port Harcourt but we also wanted to make it an avenue to reference and appreciate our Nigerian cuisines which is why each and every meal on the menu was intentionally and carefully curated using local ingredients and the experience was exhilarating.

We have witnessed people bonding over drinks, laughter, great food, share business opportunities. We have witnessed exchange of life changing ideas between people meeting themselves for the first time, and we’ve seen people literally go from strangers to friends in just one meeting.

That’s how we know that there’s power in shared moments and it is the same reason we are convinced that creating experiences that speak to both body and soul, is the best way to inspire a feeling of belonging amongst people like you and me.

Which is why at The CUE Club, we are dedicated to connecting people through these rare and exclusive experiences, building a community as we go, one event at a time.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a home, where individuals seeking soulful and rare fun experiences in Nigeria can gather, connect, and immerse themselves in.

We aim to create a safe space where like-minded people can bond, share ideas, laughs, and connect over great food, good music, wine, and elite, exclusive activities. You just might have found your tribe. cheers.

What We've Done

We are proud to have hosted the first ever candle making event in Portharcourt- which eventually became our signature event.

We also organised a luxury picnic where we had an intimate number of our members unwind and dine in a serene garden space

In our quest to continually create the kind of experiences that make us feel alive, we organised an art based event- Paint, Wine, and Dine where our members had the chance to channel their inner Picasso, eat great food, and connect with others.

If there's one thing we believe...

Humans thrive wholesomely on three pillars:

But we realised that in our society today, often times, only one is prioritised

The result? A society of people who live highly unfulfilled lives. This inspired us to create a space where people have access to all three core aspects. And so far, we have nearly 50 members in this space. We call it The CUE Club innercircle because members get access to even more wholesome events, deeper friendships, a community of like-minded people.

As a club member, it is expected of you to:

be respectful of each other's opinions and differences, contribute positively to the group's atmosphere, and engage in building meaningful connections with fellow members
Participate in volunteering and society building services hosted by cue club

HOW OUR MEMBERSHIP WORKS

Membership in Cue club is by invitation only. We want to make sure you join a club that you are the best fit for our community. We make it easy to get involved and on your way to membership immediately.

You express interest:
Let us know a little about yourself and what you’re looking for in a club.
Your application gets approved:

If your application gets approved you will be required to pay the stipulated yearly membership subscription fee of N50,000.

Cue club contacts you:
A Cue club member will contact you by email or phone to discuss your interest in Cue. You’ll be invited to get to know the club better by attending a club meeting, a social event.
The club invites you to join:
Now that you and the club have spent some time together and determined that you’re a good fit for each other, you will be invited to join. At Cue Club we have our own way of welcoming new members.
